Saturday will also start sunny with clouds. The clouds will increase in the afternoon and thunderstorms will become more frequent. Similar conditions will prevail on Sunday with intermittent sunshine at first, but widespread rain showers and thunderstorms are to be expected in the second half of the day. Monday will continue to be changeable, with partly sunny conditions and a few showers and thunderstorms during the day. It will be cooler than recently. With strong northerly foehn winds, it will be quite sunny on Tuesday, especially in the south.

Weather in the mountains

A disturbance is sweeping eastwards along the northern edge of the Alps, with little impact on South Tyrol.
Initially, there will be plenty of sunshine with only a few clouds. Clouds will soon gather from the north-west on the main Alpine ridge and in Val Venosta/Vinschgau, with isolated thundery showers possible. During the day, cumulus clouds develop and a few thunderstorms are possible.
